Do U HAVE to believe in the supernatural for it to be real?

When it comes to things like ghosts, the afterlife and the supernatural in general etc.

Do you have to believe in it for it to be real?

No, I did not believe in it at first...BUT...I have found it to be very real.

Good question! Even though I didn't think certain things could be possible outside a movie, I now believe, since that I have seen ghosties my self.

However, my ex-husband, who was not a believer at all, never saw them, even though, at times, he was standing with me when I (and my son) saw them. And he always tried to logically explain  things away, even after his explanation was shown not to be viable.

So, perhaps some people do need a little nudge to believe in the supernatural. Some, no matter how many nudges they get, will not be able to believe - their brains may explode instead.

No. In fact if you don't believe it ghosts will get very upset and in fact more activity will happen. The supernatural will happen whether people believe in it or not.

Just because we may not be able to physically prove or disprove something exists does not mean it isn't real.For example in most cases we can't see germs but they exist.We cannot see electricity but it exists.Just because something occurs that may not have an explanation today does not exclude it as a reality .To me it would at least remain a possibility.

Initially I thought I would say no to this question. Thinking I know personally I have seen spirits and therefore know them to be real.

However, the answer I believe is YES. The reason being is that it all depends on what is real to you. What indeed is reality? If someone does not believe in the supernatural, then to them it is not real. The afterlife is therefore not real to anyone who doesn't believe in it. It can't be. In the same light, until I really truly fell in love, I didn't believe in it. It wasn't real.
