  1. there is obviously life out there somewhere

there are more stars in just our galaxy than grains of sand on earth! think of how many planets that is

those are pretty good odds if you ask me

  2. Ive got a 3rd of a alien in me, its in my senses, my mind craves for the 4th dimension or the parodox, the aliens built the pyramids then  used them as a time machine, they found old stone tablet photographs in peru dating back to 1509,the pictures were a birds eye view of the earth from 20,000 ft ,nothing in them days could fly,

  3. I  do believe in aliens and they seem  to be very well endowed and to like our women.  There are hundreds of women, especially in US, who swear they were abducted and had s*x with them. Sooner or later some of them are bound to sue the government for failing to protect them.

  4. There are so many reports of flying objects that I bet 99% of those "UFO's" are Top secret military aircrafts.

I believe the possibility of life in another planet, but  if you think about it what difference will it make?  Life goes on. The media will go crazy for awhile but that is it.  The world is not going to end.

  5. no

    no

I need to qualify my first answer:  I do believe that it is very likely that there is intelligent life elsewhere in the universe.  I do not believe that the UFOs that are seen are related to creatures coming from elsewhere than Earth.

  6. Google/youtube: "Project Bluebeam"

'Aliens' just in time for 2012!

  7. There have been many people, admired for their achievements, who have gone completely off the deep end with some paranormal belief.  These have been scientists and others with PhDs who, for some reason, got hooked on some weird thing and went off conducting research or writing books that would never have met the standards they set for themselves in their primary field of study.  These embarrassing excursions into the "unknown" have made them popular among those who believe in strange things, but have ruined their professional reputations.  Ed Mitchell joins that unfortunate list.  Gordon Cooper is also among them.

And I suppose Stephen Greer is on the list as well.  I didn't watch the whole disclosure video, but I have seen most of it before.  Here is a parade of nuts who have come forward at Dr. Greer's request.  Finding former government employees that believe in UFOs/aliens is not hard to do.  Who knows, some of these people might have been forced out of their jobs because of mental illness.  But now they are celebrity "witnesses."  Some are even frauds, as no one has ever been able to find confirmation of their employment claims.  One of the biggest, Bob Lazar, a few years ago, simply lied about his credentials.  But because of him, millions of people believe there are dead aliens and alien spacecraft at Area 51.

It shoud be pointed out that despite all their cymbal clashing and drum banging, this conference was 7 years ago and not one of them has testified under oath to Congress as they so bravely said they would.  Get them in front of a camera, where they're not under oath, and watch 'em squawk.

Spore, the number of stars in our galaxy is about equal to the number of grains of sand in the volume of about four refrigerators.  You and many others do not understand the difference between the probability of life *somewhere* and the probabiliity of them being *here*.  These people are all nut cases.  They believe in stuff that has never come close to being legitimately verified.

  8. By reading some of the answers here I'm wondering if there is intelligent life here. The proof that there are aliens is so beyond what you need it's unbelievable. Those who choose to ignore it are probable the same ones that think that Bin La din attacked us. Some of you people really got to get your head out of your butt.

  9. Actually, my reaction is "how sad".  How sad it is for someone who actually went to the moon to use his fame to spread totally crazy stories like that.

Note that at no point does Ed Mitchell ever claims to have met aliens, or to be shown evidence, but only to have been spoken to or been briefed by people who claimed to know such things. That is not very convincing. Since Ed Mitchell joined NASA in 1966, he flew only once, and resigned in 1972, then all his so called "briefing" info is at least 36 year old. (And why would he have been briefed in the first place? So that he would know how to say "Na-Nu Na-Nu" if confronted by an alien? But why would he be, since NASA had contacts with the aliens, and could tell them to avoid bumping into the Apollo spacecrafts in advance, thus reducing the risk associated with giving too much information to too many people, which increase the chance one of them would talk -- even in his dreams?)

Also note that during his space journey, Mitchell conducted his own "private" ESP experiments with friends on Earth, and founded his own "company" to research Psy phenomenons in 1973. By itself, this already establishes him as some sort of nut case.

NASA had 36 astronauts assigned to the Apollo project (some were back-up crew, who never had a chance to fly). If one adds all the other astronauts from other earlier projets (Mercury, Gemini), later projects (the space shuttle) from other countries (Russia, China, and people from other countries hitching a ride on the Shuttle or on a Soyouz) 482 people went to space; and perhaps we should also add the thousands of ground crew who monitor every second of each NASA space flights. And only one of them talks? And those people who actually (alledgely) KNOW something so that can brief the astronauts (how many are they?) they don't talk either?

Sorry, but I personally feel Irwin is way off his base, and is not playing with a full deck. His credibility in this respect is a big fat zero. Note, and that is a big point here, that I do not rule out the possibility of alien life (although I very much doubt we've been visited), but the claim that NASA has had, and is still having, contacts with aliens, and is keeping all that secret.

I demand proof. There is none. So, this is all baloney.
