I found that food like Laksa, Wanton Noodle, Rojak, Nasi Brani, Nasi Lemak etc are too salty ? (Despite Govn. effort asking them to use less salt - they are not listening, I think)

Do you feel the same ?

  1. It depends on stall. Some offer it quite suitably while others go way too much.

Personally I prefer food to be less salty. Bland is fine for me. Healthier I guess.

  2. Some years ago. As I was delivering food items to a seafood restaurant at the East Coast area. I saw a delivery man sending 5 bags of 3 kg of MSG. I said to the man "must be 1 year supply" He said "1 week only, lah"

  3. yes

  4. What might be salty to you might not be salty to me. Every person has different taste buds. If you prefer food to be a little healthier and more blend you can always request the cook to do it to fit your style of liking. But to answer your question, i do not feel that the food is too salty. Maybe i'm acustomed to it but i really do not feel it that way.

  5. i think they put alot of msg in to make the dish tastier. home cooked food is still the best.

  6. If you think Singapore food is salty, then you can't go to places like China. The food the is so salty that I drink a lot of water.
