Do U think tennis is better than basketball?

It's cool, but it doesn't have that intensity like basketball does. Wat do u think?

personally i like tennis better.

if i were flipping channels and found a basketball game on, chances are i wouldn't watch it.

but if it were tennis, i probably would.

i think it is. i think it is even more physically demanding. in tennis, there is no off season except for december while basketball there is an off season. in tennis you also have to use yer mind a little more in placing shots, and reading you opponent on where he/she will place the ball. and like the other person said, tennis is so unpredictable, unlike basketball. and besides, basketball you have four other people to help you while in tennis its only you(unless you play doubles)

tennis because it is a lot more intense when your playing...

think about it, in basketbal sometimes your benched

and also the pressure of letting your team down is really...idk...annoying... atleast in tennis, if your a single player, then that pressure is off.  I admit that the NBA is more exciting to watch... but tennis is a lot more exciting to actually play...

Intensity? have uever watched the Williams sisters play against....anyone? especially against sharapova or henin? They go crazy. tennis is way better than basketball and it takes way more skill.

It has a lot of intensity. People have had up to 4 minute points, huge upsets, different surfaces means different game styles, big serves, penetrating ground strokes, saving match points, amazing comebacks, etc. It is fun and interesting to watch. I LOVE IT!

I used to be so into basketball back as a little kid, but I wish I started off with tennis. I love tennis. Tennis rackets are like my weapons.

Yes I do think that tennis is better than basketball. Tennis has intensity but it all depends on who's playing and what's on the line. Tennis requires so much talent and ability to play at a high level. Watching a big match in tennis is just as exciting as the SuperBowl (just without all of the commercials).

One thing I love about tennis is that there are no fouls and other calls. With that in mind, I believe that basketball is actually slower paced than tennis if you ask me. In tennis you must be in great physical shape because you will be out there the entire match with no timeouts.
