Do UPS ground deliveries ever arrive *before* the scheduled delivery date?

no, not ever, even if it some how got to the hub faster they hold into the day it's expected. it may come latter and they give you three day on the truck.  for some people it seems like stuff gets there fast but it really depends how far it's coming from. if i send something from GA to NY and they tell me three days they have set stopping point for the package like end of day one it be in NC end of day two it's in NY start of day three is driven to you.
