Do USB EXTENSION cables work with no problems?

Just curious before I get one to make sure I am not going to waste my money.

They work really well I have been using one for about two years because I only have my usb ports in the back of my computer and so that I do not have to reach around tot he back I got a usb extension cable.  I do not use it for hard drive though just memory sticks and misc. usb devices.  I would think using a external usb hard drive on a usb extension cable would really make it drag and make the hard drive work hard especially if it is a really long cable but for your smaller devices it should be fine.

no probs dear. u can use 127 USB devices in a single USB port. so no problem

I have one 50 ft long and it works great

ive had no problem with them. I use 5 with no problem
