Do Unions benefit transportation workers?

People are upset and talking Union, do unions help or hurt. we have good benefits, NOT good wages, or conditions, or management, any information would be appreciated.

If all those things are bad in your shop, then a union certainly would help.  However, you have to remember that companies hate unions.  If the shop is small enough, they might just close the doors and open up again someplace else and you and your coworkers would be out of a job.  Try to talk to the more open members of upper management about improving the situation.  Tell them a happy worker is a good worker.  If that fails, and you thing the risk is worth it, start talking to a union.

Yes, unions help.  Companies get greedy, forget about how it's like for the workers doing the actual work.  Good luck..
