Have you noticed we have a inordinate number of "thumbs down" in the forum. Answers that I find spot on have received multiple thumbs down, including my own. If you truly believe you have a better answer, then give it. If you are just out to play spoiler, go elsewhere. And BTW, I feel sorry for you.

  1. agreed - a better answer then give it - or if you agree give a thumbs up.    Thumb downs should be used for off the wall answers given by someone looking only to get points.

There is a great group on knowledge here - lets keep it that way

  2. sorry bout that, I was just having a really bad day.

just kiddin, I'm sure whomever it is will tire of it sooner or later.

  3. nah

  4. think we've been around the bases on this one before truenorth and something tells me it won't be the last time either.

everyone is entitled to their opinion but if they want to express it with a  "thumbs down"  then explain it too. there is a tremendous amount of great knowledge being presented from folks with many years of experience and to give a thumbs down to those of us who have been there and done that, well, let's just let it stay at that and not get heated here.

we're not hear for the glory...we're not here for the points or the ratings...we're hear to offer assistance to those on subjects we know about. so I raise of glass of rum to all who provide great answers so that others may benefit! Cheers! Anyone want another? : )
