Do YOU Know the Critical **Difference** Between a "SALE" and an "EVENT"?

So your local car dealer is holding a big "event?" Do you know WHY he (or other businesses engaging in retailing) so often employ that term, **instead** of simply using the far-more attractive and enticing word, "sale?"

HINT: To date, this seems to be one of retailing's best-kept secrets from the consumers. THEY are not about to explain this to you!

  2. A  SALE is when current prices are lowered.

    An EVENT is an advertising gimmick to draw in customers.........it is not a lowering of prices....altho they like to project that image.
