Do Ya think the Mets or Phillies win NL East would they go to WS?

I think they would now just because the Cubs got the best record dont mean anything its all about getting hot in the playoffs thats it in you could snatch a NLCS like that now alot of people didn't think the Rockies would go to WS in i said i think they would go in they went everybody thought the d.Backs or Cubs was going to playoffs is all about getting hot in in the Mets i say win NL East what do ya think about what i said about who ever go to NL East would go WS in who wins NL East die hard mets fan here

  1. The Mets are playing with a chip on their shoulder from the agongy of defeat last year. The Phillie's in my opinion on paper is the team to beat in the NL. East. The Mets relieve pitching is shaky.I would love to see the any team win the World Series other than Boston

  3. I think the Mets win the NL East. I don't see the Phillies going anywhere, they don't impress me. Yes, the Mets can get to the World Series.

  4. Anyone who thinks the Mets can get to the WS is delusional.  Their bullpen hasn't been able to hold a lead all year.  Pitching is what wins championships in baseball and the Mets just don't have it.

    But, I do think the Mets will make the playoffs and the Phils probably won't.

  5. Who the wild card is plays into it. The Brewers, Phillies and Mets could all be the wild card. If the wild card is the Brewers the East team would have to go thru both the Cubs and the Brewers (probably) to get to the WS sine the Brewers and Cubs can't play each other in the first round (because they are same division teams). If the Mets win the East and the Phillies are the wild card. The Mets would play Arizona and then play the winner of the Philly/Cubs series. The Mets could win the division and still have to go thru the Phillies in the play-offs to go to the WS (or vise versa).

    In short, if the wild card comes out of the Central, the East team will probaly have the toughest road to the WS.
