Do You Believe In Blocks? ?

Question

I think that if even if the car behind you is faster you should be allowed to block without getting someone mad at you. I think that blocks are pure racing moves, but others think that blocks are dirty racing. Do you think drivers should block more? I think so.

well absolutely blocks are a part of racin.  What are you supposed to just move over for someone else? No friggin way.

On the other hand...no a lapped car should not block anyone on the lead lap just because they don't like him or their teammate is up in front etc...if you are lapped...move over. Your day is already shot anyway.

i think so that's real racing! they have so many rules now days it  kinda got

boring not like back in the day when it was exciting and you sat on the edge of your seat not knowing who was really going to win!

Without a doubt when we get to see a close race that doesn't end in a green,white,checker blocks are thrown. Even ocassionally we get to see drivers and teammates block others during a race to hold a position. Some drivers will yeild after a few laps others won't, some will lightly tap the other car as to say Hey man come on! While still others will spin the guy out. (not just Jr, I have heard others on the scanners say they are gonna do it and then watched them do it) especially on the short tracks.

You don't block...you don't win. Now lap 1 is a different story....I say no blocking....Final lap....do what you gotta do to win. Except cheat.

To a certain degree yes. But if a driver stays in the way too long then it should be perfectly fine for the faster driver in behind to boot him out of the way. That's why I like Bristol (before it was repaved). I love the bump and run and watching tempers flare. THAT'S RACIN'

At larger tracks it becomes more dangerous. Don't need cars spinning out doing 185 to 200 mph.

Absolutely. Why would anyone want to sit and watch a driver who just moves over and allows the competition to just pass them?

I think you should be able to block all you want, your out there racing and going for everything you can get. but dont get mad when the guy your blocking puts you in the wall.

ya but if a laped car screws with the leader cause he just wants his sponser to get noticed is wrong (55 car bristol 07) but kyle dosent care if they move over he will still hit them

I think they should block that's just part of racing but I also think that if they are one or more laps down that they need to let the lead lap guys by no matter who it is cause those guys are still racing for the win and the lapped cars are just trying to get back on the lead lap! But that's just my 88 cents!!
