  1. you puzzle me

first you say you don't know what religion you are

then i read your a christian

and now you believe in reincarnation

have you made your mind up yet?

to answer your question i believe that your body rots and your soul lives on...where i do not know...yet.

  2. I think that the "soul" (some form of energy, measurable or not) is capable of surviving the death of the physical body in some form. Whether it be through reincarnation and being reborn, or as a spirit/ghost.

  3. Yes.

I think reincarnation in some way is more likely than not, and I think that without it, there would be no justice.

  4. yes i do

  5. I do not believe in reincarnation and past lives. I think this is it.

  6. I believe there is no empirical evidence supporting reincarnation or past lives.  The only "evidence" seems to be anecdotal testimony and other things which do not exist independently of the subjective experience.  In other words, things which can be invented or imagined.

  7. I do believe/ and feel that we reincarnate, over and over, but it takes serveral hundred years to do so.....

I see our bodies just like cars, and we the souls are the drivers..we have our vehical, with all the parts to be able to drive... Then when we experience death, just like getting into another car, when we return... There is a saying....

We are not human beings having spiritual experiences, but rather we are spiritual beings, having human experiences.....

  8. I am undecided on my belief about this idea.

However, the best work on the subject from the perspective of science was done by Ian Stevenson (now deceased) but his work continues at the University of Virginia (link below).

He stated that his evidence did not compel anyone to believe but he himself after years of research was convinced that reincarnation was real.

His book for the general public is called "Twenty Cases Suggestive of Reincarnation"

  9. Life is a cycle of continuity so I think they may have been lives before and a life or two after this one.

  10. yes

  11. Yes, I believe in them.

There have been incidents within my life that can only be explained by past life experiences, particularly my two sort-of phobias. It also makes sense that we live many different lives so that our soul can experience different things and learn from them.

  12. No.

  13. yes, I believe.

I became a believer when I had my children. My son knows things he should not know about things. He began talking very very young and was speaking of his other home quite often. I first thought I was a bad mom and he wanted out LOL

  14. I don't... I think that we get one life and there's no re-do if we mess it up.

I think the Buddhist concept of reincarnation disagreeable (?), because I don't ersonally see how getting to live more than once is punishment, and when you finally get to die for real its the reward. Or maybe my understanding of it is wrong.

The Hindu concept of reincarnation makes a little more sense to me though, and the whole idea of moving up or down the food chain depending on you lived your life.

  15. The reason I believe in this as a possible thing is because I carry everything before me, in this time and space.  If our genetic make up is exactly like my great great grand parent, who is to say I am not them?  I think, and this is only an openion,  we can call up anything that has existed.  All the way back to slime.  For us to be here right now requires billions of years in serviving genetic code.  We must have the solid cell for a spirit to exist.  If someone has no cells for belief you couldn't grow one for them.  You ither have it, or don't.  If someone was a carrier of the cells needed for absolute love and kindness, or for something as odd as the ability to read minds, move objects, or see other spirits, than that person must live with it in their own way.  Because the next guy has just the opposite cell and lives here too.  So, yes I believe in past lives and reincarnation.

  16. I don't think so. I think what some people experience and think is  past lives is really spirits conveying their thoughts, feelings, & experiences into that person. If karma is real...what's the use of  reincarnation when you don't even know what  you did wrong in your past lives? I could see a purpose if you knew what to correct. And karma just keeps accusing you and blaming you . ..but not helping you change or fix it. Also, before we were born into our bodies..maybe we were able to watch other people's lives and those are the "memories" that we have that we think are "our" memories. (This is just how I think about this...doesn't mean it's right.)(Doesn't mean it's not right either.)

  17. Wassup Darth.

I am a Christian.  If you practice the religion of Christianity, then you are trusting that God will be with you after your life is over, if you have lived faithfully be his word.

I do not believe in Reincarnation, but I do believe in heaven and h**l.  I believe that there is a destiny set for all of us in life and we have control over our destiny.

The thought that your life will just end when you die just doesn't make sense to me.  I don't understand how your whole life could just go away all together.  So yes, Reincarnation is a possible theory for the afterlife, I just believe don't believe in that theory because it is never mentioned in the bible.

  18. No, I believe that all the souls that have lived, good and evil, are all a part of  a greater whole.

  19. I want to believe in Reincarnation. I have to hang onto the fact that maybe in a previous life I was at Woodstock.
