  1. Yes. In a way.

Your phrasing of the question, however, is highly revealing of non-scientific attitude.

Scientific theories are not "believed in" as this implies faith.  Someone who subscribes to an evolutionist framework simply feels that this is the best explanation among other theories.  They do not hold to it as a creationist holds to a FAITH in creationism.

  2. Yes.

  3. yes!

  4. ooh aah ooah ooh ah ooh ugh ugg ugh ooh aah ugg

  5. As other people have said, it's not a question of belief. If evolution was scientifically disproven, then I would accept the new explanation. But as things stand, I think evolution is the best explanation.

  6. Yes, I find it more believable that the Invisible Sky Fairy Theory.

  7. It's kinda hard not to, but there will always be those who don't despite blatantly clear facts, so whatever.

  8. There are severe holes in the theory. Here's 2 of many.

    1. No transitional species exist.

    2. The early man fossils have been proven to be unreliable. My favorite is Nebraska Man. The Complete skeleton was made from a single tooth! Then it was later proven to be that of a pig!!!! hahahaha

  9. I believe in evolution. It's kind of hard not to believe it's true with all of the evidence.

But it's not just Darwin's theory. Check out Alfred Russel Wallace. He came up with the same theory at relatively the same time. They even corresponded during their research.

  10. I believe in evolution to the point that species do change over time.  Humans today tend to be taller than those in the past.  I don't believe humans evolved from monkeys, or that we all came from a single-celled organism a long time ago.  I'm a Christian, so that goes against everything I believe.  Besides, there are a lot of holes in the theory of macroevolution.  Namely, where are all the half-evolved animals at?

  11. i believe in evolution. how else can you explain the adaptation of species . you can actually see this in fossils

  12. Yes, the African fossil record shows we evolved from apes and then left that continent, never to return.

  13. i believe in god so no i dont believe in it

  14. Oh yes, and hypermutation as a modifier.

  15. No, because science has failed in explaining how life began. They have failed to make inorganic matter come to life in a controlled lab. Do you agree that there is more information stored in your DNA than a library full of books. Its like, how can it happen all by itself. It is so complex. How did your veins and arteries know to grow to complete a system to carry your blood and the lungs to put oxygen in the blood and so forth. Even studying microbiology is so complex. It  just takes too much faith to believe that if you had enough time, you could blow up tree and a chair and table would come out of it. Yet life is so much more complex.

I expect to see tons of thumbs down. But I guarantee I won't find any explanations of how the complexity of life came into being  all by itself.

  16. Yes it has been scientifically proven and validated.

  17. yes, but not in all of it.

  18. YES BECAUSE SURVIVAL FOR FITTEST IS STILL PROVE FOR ANY WORK

  19. yes, because there is many hard evidences to support his theory.

God = i don't believe in it since....i don't see "it" popping out of somewhere and helping people. just another human mythology like roman and greek gods.

Oh yeah, if i died and there is a so called  "God" after my death, i rather join the DEVIL!

  20. no  I BELIEVE IN GOD

  21. Real people of science do not "believe" something as that leads to conclusions based upon something other than evidence. I "suspect" Darwin had it right because absolutely all scientific evidence supports his basic theory.  To believe something is to hold that something is true in the absence of supporting evidence.

One might "believe" a person guilty of a crime, even though they were photographed in another country at the time the crime was committed.   If you are standing over a body with a smoking gun, then I "suspect" you of having shot the victim. Others (friends & family) might "believe" you to be innocent, in spite of evidence to the contrary.

Creationists tend to dislike evolution because most think it contradicts their belief in the supernatural & their interpretation of the Bible.  However, they can produce no evidence that creationism is true... they'd rather find some some tiny hole in Darwin's research than to find some evidence their belief is correct.
