I can understand that many people (English or not) feel the need to slate the England team because of either they prefer them to do badly or because they are playing very poorly. However the way people are making it out it's as if it came out of nowhere that we were very average.

For years is blatantly obvious that we were on a downward spiral similar to the one that the Scottish team went through. People ignored it because they loved the Premiership and all the great names that came from abroad (now im not blaming this). It lies deeper really in the fact that our facilities in youth and older age football is not good enough. USA is not even a footballing country but yet have fantastic pitches and facilities.

How can we put it behind us? We need to actually get behind the team and show that no matter success or failure we are still proud of supporting our team. It's not a miracle we need it's a structured way of getting the players to play as a team that we need.
