Question:

Do You Just Walk Into An Agency Or What?

If you find a modeling agency and they seem real...how do you contact them? I mean I heard the real agencies don't come to you, you have to come to them. They don't have advertisments and stuff. Do you just walk in? Anything, but mailing in a picture and resume'. My mom won't let me do that.

  1. wow that stinks

  2. Well, you are out of luck, because the way you do it is to mail in a resume and two photos, head and full length. You mom has to apply for you until you are 18.  Check out the agencies' web sites.  Avoid Powers, Casablancas, Barbizon. PS. anyone who thinks a young teen called the queen of acting can help them is crazy.

  3. Call them

  4. Sorry, but mailing (or dropping off) the picture and resume is the only correct answer.  If you walk in the receptionist may take your number, but nobody will see you.

  5. You have to mail in a picture and resume.

  6. Hey Brie,

Here is a way to get yourself an interview with the agency without your mom going coo coo bananas! Enjoy...

Get your Parent/ Legal Guardian to Phone the Agency and ask for their manager. Simply and kindly get your parent to say this: "Hello, my name is -Parent Name- My daughter is very interested in modeling and would love for you to consider her for an interview" They will ask some information about you and then try to book you an appointment. This is what I did and everything worked out great! I did end up switching to acting, but it's one of the best choices I've made! lol:P

GOOD LUCK WITH EVERYTHING AND TELL ME HOW IT GOES! Break a leg! <33
