Do You Kiss Your Dog In The mouth?

I see a lot of people who let their dogs l**k them in the face and on the mouth.

Soes anyone do this? And Why?

Yes, I thought everyone did!  My dog just wants to see what I just ate for lunch or dinner.  Her way of finding out that we ate steak and didn't bring any home for her!

We don't encourage it but he does get his licks in once in a while. We just wait until he's not looking and wash our faces when he gets distracted.

dogs mouths are alot cleaner then ours. i'll kiss my dog on the head and stuff, just like a peck. but i dont like them l*****g me on the face or on the mouth

it isnt like im afraid of them doing it, i just dont wanna get wet or anything. haha :]

Of course I do. Why? Because I love them and it's a healthy way for them to show their respect and love for me, as that's how an alpha is shown respect. To say no, would be like rejecting your child when they ask for a hug.

Plus, have you guys who say it's gross because of what they do with their mouths, have you ever taken into account that you get more nasty germs from kissing a boyfriend or a husband than you would ever get from a dog?

I would let a dog l**k my face, but I would never let them l**k my mouth. Dogs eat their own p**p! Among a lot of other disgusting things, and they l**k their privates. I'm sure people let their dogs do it though, but I think its  gross.

I used to....until I found out how nasty my dogs were...they will eat anything!...and my min pin is worse.

No, and I won't let their muzzles get anywhere near my face. I have a thing about saliva and if I get licked, the first thing I will do is look for something to wash it off.

To all those who do allow their "baby" (dog) to l**k their mouths, I would ask if you l**k your dog's butt hole? And if not, why not?

I mean you could just cut out the middleman that way...

its appears really nice and it is but dogs

eat so many things like there own p**p and

i dont think you would want to make mouth to mouth

contact after all the things hes eaten

my parents does.. that's how they love our dog, we even treat our dog as  part of the family, I mean she sleeps between my parents at the bed.

I let my dog l**k me in the face, but seldom on the mouth.

While I do my best to avoid the mouth kisses, I won't deny it has happened before.  My little guy is a kisser and he'll jump up and kiss you on the face.  I do my best to keep it to cheeks only.  Though to be safe, he also gets very frequent teeth brushings.
