Is it WORTH saving your water bill or your carpet?????

I keep an old bath towel by the door and have always wiped paws as soon as we hit the door.  I hate rainy days when I have to do that, but when I don't, paw prints and dirt stains everywhere!

We just leave an old towel by the door so that when the dogs come in, we wipe their paws.

Its half and half. I love the rain but I hate cleaning the dogs. I have 2 black labs. I love them and they love the water and the mud.

I have had the same issue. I put towels by the door on the floor and more towels to dry them off. That way I just end up doing more laundry for towels and when summer comes along I always get the carpets cleaned.
