  1. No. I don't. But if I did I'd want one like a viking ship- with little remote controlled slaves inside as well!

  2. had one once..and sad to say

we took it to Poole park one day

a huge expanse of water beckoned

and in she went that very second

the kids and I took great delight

she cruised around ...well what a sight

but then I lost control ..oh dear...!

    shes heading for central pier

then crack ..glug ..a watery grave

no one cried....we were very brave......sniff...

  3. Yes, I own one. and have built two others over the last decade for family / friends.

When I left the Navy in 1999, I could resume my model-building hobby with a vengance, and after building every 1/350 scale STATIC US Naval vessel available at the time, I found a new joy:

A fiberglass hull in 1/96 scale for a Spruance / Ticonderoga class destroyer / cruiser.  I built the first as the USS Cushing, a destroyer I'd flown off / served on with an HSL detatchment.  Two years later, I built a second as the USS Mobile Bay, the cruiser I flew off of during the Gulf War.

BOTH are stored up at my brother's ranch for sailing in his pond... two Navy geeks still playing at Naval Warfare.

The last was a 5 foot long America's Cup class sailboat build for my brother to play with on his pond.  He left his live-aboard sailboat after a decade and bought the ranch, missed the life, so I built him that RC boat so he could still "sail" and pretend to be Jimmy Buffett.
