Remember when you could buy a one topping "large" pizza for $8.99 and it would come in a huge box? Now when you buy a "large" it's in a really small box and it cost $15-$18!

  1. Yep, we were actually just talking about this the other night.  Getting expensive

  2. YES GURL AMEN

  3. Heh, over TEN years ago, I recall having this concern and phoning two major pizza companies about this! "They" changed things, and have upset many customers. Apparently, head office for each outlet has their own standards for sizing, so you can call and complain if you don't think your order is what it should be, and you will receive an explanation to their practices. Still, comparing measurements from then and now show a sad difference, which is strange considering there is far more pizza competition today (in my area) then there was back then, too!

  4. Yeah, you are right.  They seem to be much smaller these days>>>>as opposed to fast food burger joints who over time have increased the size of the fries and drinks>>>along with increasing the price.

  5. I remember locally, I could get 4 large ( and I'm talking about cart wheel sized large) 1 topping pizzas for $24.99....I miss those days:(

  6. Yes! The larges are now mediums.=)

  7. I do.  I don't know if anyone noticed but they were much better, the Crust was made from scratch and you got alot more pizza for the money.

  8. Large then Extra Large ... it never really made sense to me.  I always figured Large should be your largest size pizza.
