  1. not normally. you generally ovulate 14 days after you START your period, going by a normal 28 day cycle.

  2. no you start ovulating about a week after to be sure look at an ovulation calender.

  3. no.  if you get your period regularly, you should be ovulating somewhere between days 12-16 from your LMP.

  4. nope. i believe it's like...12 days after. depends on your cycle.

  5. its possible everyones different!!!!

  6. You should ovulate about 14-16 days before your next period, depending on how long your cycles are. If you have your periods 40 days apart, you would most likely ovulate around cd 24-26.

Everybody is different, but typically 14 days before your next period.

Just try and bd every other day.

Good Luck and babydust to you!!

  7. I am a CCMA

You ovulate anywhere from 14 to 21 days after your period

  8. It's a cycle.  As your period ends, the various hormones start flowing and the process of ovulation starts up.  Ovulation usually happens around 14 days into the menstrual cycle, but it can vary by a day or two depending on the person.

    for good information.

  9. Nope. Now, bear in mind that cycles can vary, but during a normal 28-day cycle, the first 14 days (starting with the first day of your period) is the pre-ovulation phase. The last 14 days (starting with the day you ovulate) is called the luteal phase, or the dreaded Two-Week Wait for those TTC. At the end of that phase, you either get a visit from AF or a BFP result.

Try looking around BabyMed.com. It's the best site I've found for TTC information!

  10. I read in a Cosmo magazine a while back that the second week after you're done your period is the one during which you're most prone to get pregnant. But you can get pregnant whenever you don't have your period. Unless you're on birth control. But that's a whole other thing. So:

    Week 1

Week 2 - more prone to getting pregnant

    Week 3

    Week 4 - period week

Get it? I hope this helps.

  11. Not usually.  My girlfriend and I used the rhythm method for about 6 months and we were fine with it.  She took ovulation tests every month and it was usually two weeks after her period that was the danger zone.  The week after your period and the week before are USUALLY safe, but everyone is different.

  12. I thought it was 14 days after your period started.
