  1. Well by the time you turn 16, they wont have any 2007 Dodge Chargers like the ones they do now. They'll have used ones only, and maybe even a new design. So if you want the 2007 dodge charger when you 16, you'll have to buy it as a used 3-year old car, they wont have a new 2007.

Anyways, if the car your gonna get is gonna be $26,000 when you turn 16, no you will not have enough money. Even if you get $10 a week for 3 years, you only have $1,560. That's if you get paid every week and you never spend it. You have 3 more summers left as well, which is $6,000. Even if you work for 2 years, (which depends on the legal working age where you live) you might get about $10,000 at most after taxes. Again, thats if you dont spend anything. So you'll have about $17,000 by the time you become 16. You'll be able to get a 2007 model as a used car in 2010 for that price probably, but not a new one. Add in dealers taxes, insurance, gas, etc and owning a car becomes very expensive.

I recommend just buying a used car as your first car. Something for around $6,000-$10,000. You'll have money left over for it as well.

  2. Have you ever thought what it would cost to maintain a car with an engine like the new Hemi that has 16 (yes, sixteen) freaking spark plugs in it?

Nevermind that this will be a used Chrysler product that is an electrical nightmare to deal with.

Good luck, but you might regret this one.

    Look but don't touch!

  3. 520 X 3 = $1560 (ten dollars a week times 3 years)

    2000 X 3 = $6000 ( your 2000 a summer for 3 summers)

    350 X  24 = $8400 (350 a month by 2 years from starbucks)

$15,960 at best however 3 years from now the value of a 2007 charger will be less so you may be able to buy it out right 3 years from now

  4. yea you should have plenty with the walgreens and starbucks  jobs just work like 30 hours a week on each which is a little rough but youll get it

  5. good luck.hard work and perseverence will pay off in the long run.

  6. by a 3 yr old one that has been taken care of...

  7. Lets do the math

    10 dollars for chores= 1564 dollars

    2000 from corn stuff= 6000 dollars

Walgreens (minimum wage depends on where you live) cal it 6.55hr and 20 hours a week with school. =20,436 dollars

You will have enough but I wouldnt reccomend buying that car at 16. The insurance for a new car and a young driver will be very expensive. Also taxes will be very high. There is a lot of great cars you get for around 10000.

  8. Do the math.  At least you are on the right track and with a firm goal in mind I bet you will reach it.  Good luck.

The goal is a bit steep; you'd need at least $8700 a year,  but don't let that deter you.  Keep working your goal and new opportunities will present themselves as you go along.  In 3 years you might even have a new goal, or you may find a way to get a good used car temporarily.  B e flexible for new possibilities, but never take your eyes off your goal.
