Celebrities Like Pamela Anderson Or Alicia Silverstone Stripped For Cause But This Cause I Think Will Get Ignored As It Will Attract People Not For Cause But For Other Reasons You Know.

If They Have To Be Succesful In Their attempt then They Should Try Something Else And Not this

  1. The point is that it takes shock effect to even get peoples' attention.  For some, they will remember it, and it'll plant a seed of doubt about their speciesism.

  2. I think anything that attracts attention to the cause and as a result gets people thinking about it is a positive thing. :)

  3. Homo Sapiens are Omnivores.  We were designed to eat meat.

I really pay a lot of attention to what Pamela Anderson and Alicia Silverstone says because they are known for their incisive wit and knowledge.  Real thinkers.

People like that never say " I will not eat animals because I believe it is wrong."  they say "I do not want you to eat animals because I believe it is wrong."

  4. No. People have various reasons for eating meat. Some of them eat meat because this is the way they were raised by their parents, other people eat meat in order to have a balanced diet, or simply because they can't help not eating meat as they find meat delicious.

But let me tell you this: Just because some people eat meat, doesn't mean that they don't love animals. People who eat meat can be great lovers of cats and love cats and give them good meat to eat, as we all know how much cats love meat. Cats are just an example, of course... Just because someone eats fish or chicken, doesn't mean that that person can't stand cats or dogs or doesn't feed them and care for them a lot.

  5. If they wer of Roseanne barr, or other unattractive celebrities, I might lose my appetite.

It might influence the young, but those pics in itself would probably do very little.   Frankly for most it looks like another attempt of celebrities preaching down to us that they are better than the rest of us.

  6. No, I don't think they would. In fact, I really don't understand how going around naked has anything to do with not eating meat. I will admit, though I support PETA's goals, that PETA is a little over extreme. They care too much about which celebrity is vegetarian, and who the "cutest vegetarian is" (rolls eyes), and not enough about actually stopping dissection and animal cruelty.

  7. No, but it gives PETA attention, which they love and lets them pretend they're really helping animals.  Its funny because celebrities like Pam endorse animal testing charities.  I also believe Steve-O, another celebrity they got to strip for them, "exploits" animals on his TV shows.  They also have another celebrity who wears fur. lol

I wonder if PETA would stop harassing people like Britney Spears if she were to endorse them and help them collect money like the other celebrities.  I bet if Oprah stops her vegan diet when the 21 days are up they will harrass her too.

Its sad that PETA makes so much money, yet helps so few animals.  They could have spent that money on greatly improving slaughter house conditions to improve livestock's quality of life before death, or building animal shelters to help animals that are alive -now- and need help (when you go vegetarian they don't suddenly start letting slaughter house animals go, they still die), etc.

But no, they have to spend it on campaigns that compare chickens to holocaust survivors and pay celebrities to get naked for them.  Does it really cost $30 million a year to hand out flyers and come up with ridiculous campaigns?  It seems their members do most of the work for them; they're the ones out their protesting while they just take in the money and blow it on stupid stuff.

They were even all for having Mike Vick's pitbulls put down, saying that it wasn't possible to re-home any ex-fighting dogs and that having them all put down would be best.  Turns out a dog behavioralist thought otherwise and at least some were saved.  And this is from an organization who says an animal's life is as important as a human's, yet they were so quick to declare it was "impossible" to help them and have them killed.

Its sad that a lot of people are probably suckered into donating to PETA and don't know how crazy they really are.  Especially pet owners; PETA thinks even a pet with a kind and caring home is still a "slave" and that pets should be extinct.

    /rant >.> lol

  8. PETA = People, eating tasty animals

I hope the ads include full frontal nudity.

  9. I strongly doubt it. It would only attract some guys for a quick..well, as you said it already.

  10. Naked women can get me to do almost anything.

  11. That's what I was thinking when I saw the pictures
