  2. Oh BIG TIME!! I'm still seething about the WOMEN'S gymnastics. Clearly some of those Chinese WOMEN gymnasts were 12 year old children. The IOC has always been venal. I don't appreciate that they changed the scoring either. What's better than a perfect 10!! And tie scores should be allowed!

  3. im not really sure. i ask myself the same question. there are two ways to look at it.

    1. they have used and found a drug to use that cannot be detected.

    2. they  have a HUGE population which means there are more people to be good at sports and they have trained hard and performed better cos of home crowd.

    personally, im not really sure what way to look at it. i DO find it hard to understand how china is suddenly beating world champions in waterpolo, swimming and other sports. and a chinese girl beat australia girl jessica schripper in the swimming and the chn girl's personal best is like 5 seconds slower than wat she raced... a little suss.

  14. In the women's gymnastics, yes. Some of the girls on the Chinese gymnastics team were clearly NOT 16. The women's gymnastics was not fairly judged and done.

    I think this issue has already been decided in the court of public opinion.  Anyone with two eyes can see the gymnasts are kids.

    But most countries also had cheaters.  I'm sure there was undetected doping by many competitors.

  23. If they were cheating they would not allow Australia to win the gold medal in the men's 10M platform diving.  They were about to clean sweep the diving comps with all gold medals until that final round when they had to settle for silver.  So No they have not been cheating as far as we know!

  27. in gymnastics, yes, and the coachs or something actually just said that there was a paper mix up and they might actually be only 14. so yeahh, it doesn't bother me that they won though it just bothers me that they lied to win, they were amazing.

    Because they are Asians, not following Western rules, having different values, lifting billions out of poverty and thus they are cheating???

    Well maybe Phelps would be able to answer if China has cheated as he is learning Mandarin at moment and should be able to understand the country a bit better than people like you.

    China had 34 golds in Athens and this time they have 51. They only strenghened more medals from its traditional stronghold like weightlifting, judo, diving and table tennis. They haven't eaten U.S, Australia, Russian or Germany's lunch by scoring more gold from swimming, track/field, rowing , cycling and K/C. They had one gold in swimming in Athens so they did in Beijing this time again, just one gold and you call it a sudden surge? They had two golds from the track/field and they have got none this time and you called a sudden surge?
