haters, feel free to bash dale jr. see what the h**l I care.

Anyway, I just finished reading an article on NASCAR.COM about the finishes Dale Jr.'s gotten since his win at Michigan. Dale Jr. and the 88 team say they are going to try harder than they had all season and try to get back to championship mode. Now, maybe he won't go on a WIN streak, but I think he'll have some more Top 5's and some more wins. Do you think so?

  1. Yes, I do I think after last weekend the team probably realized they better get hot and do it quick. I read the article also, #88 team will bring it this weekend, and yes lets win with gas in the tank this time, and lets start getting those top 5's again like earlier in the yr.

    Go Dale Jr & Hms

  2. i hope he does i love dale jr he is a great driver he learned from the best

{his dad}and i am tried of ppl giving jr a hard time

you wait and see jr will be a NASCAR champ

GO JR FROM YOUR BIGGEST FAN

  3. Only if the other 42 drivers stay home. Especially the 18,48 and the 99.

  4. Anyone who thinks so, I got some nice swamp land in Oklahoma I'll sell ya :^)

  5. He sucks so no. He can't even win in the best car out there.

  6. it would be very nice if he could win a few in a row. any win's he get's during the chase is a huge bonus. GO JR!!!!!!!

  7. no it goes:

I have some ocean front property in Arizona for sale

  8. I think so too. But maybe we should ask JM as he dreams about sleeping in Dale Jr's bed! LOL!!!!!!

Jr's car looked good in happy hour... we will see tomorrow....

  9. It could happen. It's not like he's incapable of winning races, there was a season he won 6 of them. He has good equipment, he's a decent driver, no reason why he couldn't.

  10. Winning streaks in Nascar are hard to come by.  On the other hand good finishes can come easier as compared to your winning streak.  To win a race everything has to be perfect, from your pit stops, pit strategy, all the way down to the way the cautions fall.  This is why the points system is the way it is, to truly tell how good a driver is, you need to look at how consistent they are.  Being consistent still takes a lot of great strategy, and pit stops, but it becomes much easier to finish top 10 and top 5 every week than winning... As we have see, the best car does not always win the race, it just takes one rain shower, or someone crashing, blowing out a tire, or having debris falling off of their car for you to have a bad day.

I would agree with you that more top 5s are on the way.  Actually last year they teams figured out once they got in the chase they needed an average finish of 8.7 or better to have a chance at winning the championship (this was based off the prior year 2006).  So as you can see while winning is great, consistency pays off at the end of the year...

Just keep being happy with top 10 and top 5 finishes... I have been that way this year with that 24 car, he has not had a stealer year, but has been getting good finishes, and now he is almost for sure in the chase unless we see something really crazy happen

  11. Any things Possible  i hope he will tho

as much as im surprised i agree with Winter Glory

  12. Yeah!!! He will! They are just doing the same thing as most people in the top 5 for the chase, he's experimenting for when he gets to the chase. so yeah He will do better after this race =]

  13. No, he has enough trouble just trying to win A race. He doesn't seem to have the focus to win 2 or more in a row.

  14. yes he will i knows the season coming to end and the chase will start he will be determine  to win his 1st  championship  he been running well and things well turn around for him  he got the best 2 teammates out there

  15. i hope so

  16. NO......he needs to concentrate on finding his way to the racetrack

  17. Definitely will get another win before season end and top 5's to boot..after all Tony Eury Jr just completed the Hendricks 101 thru 110 and bet ya he will NOT make another stupid call like last week, Jr had it in the bag and then ...well enough said!!!

Just my opinion, don't hate me

  18. He has a good car, he's a good driver, but no, I don't think he has the focus to put together a string of wins.

  19. If his team put their minds to it then yes.

But most likely he will win one then next wk, will lose that winning streak.
