  1. Supposed to be at $4 a gallon soon, going down? No.

  2. I expect to see $10. this summer.Banks are the cause of prices. They can't make money on home sales so they play the stock markets all day and night.Buying and selling, they have billions to invest.

The key people is to pull together and let your savings ,checking balances go to the minimum.

Which will shorten their cash flow.

  3. if one was a betting man the odds would be on the price going up. I do believe we can have some say if we curb our unnecessary driving habits, if we all cut back even 1 trip /day. we would bring consumption down, we reduce consumption of gas, the oil companies would have too much in stock and to compete, they would have to lower prices...we got too used to low gas prices and kept buying vehicles that have bigger engines..we are consumed with power and speed.....

  4. It will continue to rise until the public rebels like our fore father did against the English. It may be time for a new revolution.

  5. I hope to god not we need to figure out away to lower the prices, maybe have people with certain last names be allowed to buy on each day of the week, or like back in the 70's lowering the speed limit on the interstate back down to 55 and enforcing it!!!!, We have to learn to conserve gas!!! I am sure many of the "older" people remember it at .33 a gallon, I remember it at .79 a gallon and I'm not over the hill yet!!!!! They say its going to be $4.00 a gallon by June.

  6. not while Bush is in office

  7. It will keep going up as long as there are still storms that cause the drilling rigs to shut down in the oceans.  It may go down after a few more years when people get smart and boycott the oil companies or if the workers who have to still pay the same amount as us go on strike. The new president needs to try and get a law or an amendment passed regulating the oil prices.

the U.S. needs to stop relying on Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Middle East to get our oil.

As long as the price of crude oil goes up we will have to suffer.

  8. It will go up. BUT come fall (ehhem *elections*) they will fall again. Mark my words.

  9. it'll stop at maybe $6.00 a gallon,  talk about greed,

  10. it is, as matter of fact, imposible that gas  will lower in price.   AJ.. DS

  11. Yup, they won't be coming down anytime soon.  The price of oil per barrel is an indicator of what we will be paying in 2-3months.  We will be seeing $5/gallon before too long in many parts of the country.

$2.40 is only a dream now unless our economy takes a nose dive &/or we discover a new source of energy that reders oil obsolete.
