Do You Think I Still Have A Chance of Growing Taller?

I'm 15 years old (going to turn 16 February 2009)

I'm only about 5 feet or....maybe 5'1

Do I have a chance of growing taller?

My Dads side of the family is short, but I'm not as tall as him yet

My Moms side of the family is tall, and I'm not as tall as her yet either.

Will eating or drinking something in particular help me grow?

Will some kind of excercise help me?...I'm thinking of taking Jazz dance......

  1. You still have a slight chance but it is minimal if you were a guy you would still have three years I am 12 and I am the same height as you probably your genes are keeping you down. My grandparents are only about 5'2" . Either way start going to the pool it is amazing how much height you can grow if you just swim for an hour or two every other day. Being shorter is not as big a deal as everyone keeps saying nobody will even notice but even then go swimming every other day for an hour and drink three glasses of milk every day plus go to Jazz Dance the day after swimming(swimming, Jazz Dance, swimming, Jazz Dance, swimming etc.) Or as a last resort you could use growth hormones(from your pediatrition)*Sorry I forgot how to spell that* I'm going to the pool now good luck

  2. If your body does not grow naturally, there are two possibilities.

One is that you will not grow a lot taller no matter what you do than that because of your genes- by nature.

Two is that you're worrying a bit early, because you still have a bit more time to grow.

But i don't have problem with short girls.
