You're right that it isn't fair.  Unfortunately, life itself isn't fair.  Some people starve while others pay six thousand dollars for a shower curtain.  Empty headed folk who happen to be young and attractive get rich spouses, while cultured, educated, nice folk who are older and more "seasoned" get ignored.  Welcome to the universe!  The best thing to do is realize that it will someday be your turn to receive the benefit of the "unfairness," and look forward to that day.


  2. Yes, I think it's fair. So what if they don't know the meaning of a word? That does not mean the person shouldn't be recognized for their hard work and achievement.
