i mean its maggot cheese how could you eat that, i am Italian and my dad laughed when i told him about that cheese, he said a man ate it after being desperate and starving and ended up liking it and ever since sardigninans haven't stoped since.

Gross. Cheese alone grosses me out for some reason. Wouldn't want to even look at that.

To be honest, it sounds gross. I wouldn't put it within a foot of my mouth just for safety sake. However, just like all delicacies, i think its the taboo nature which makes it taste better than it actually is. Think of the old tradition of drinking champagne out of a girl's shoe. How exactly would that make it taste any better?
