As of now I do not see Lebron being the next MJ. Is it possible? yes. LeBron has yet prove his greatness and he has a lot to even be considered a great player. He is definitley a promising star though. Michael Jordan was able to carry his team (with Pippen) and take his team over to 6 championships. All his clutch shots and highlights will be remembered forever. LeBron has not gotten close to dominating this era, but he does have time. So I think he could be the next MJ if he really plays ball, but right now he's light years away. He might be the King of Cleveland but MJ is arguably the presumed king of the NBA Universe.

lebron however is very fun to watch.. hes 23 of age(like me). he took his team to the finals. although they lost... one thing is for sure man... he has definitely have a long way to prove himselft to be a legit hall of famer... but hey... he definitely have talent man...

the nba wants lebron to be the next jordan. the closeste player i have seen to jordan is kobe bryant. kobe is light years ahead of lebron right now its not even funny. lebron is closer to magic johnson rather than jordan and even that is a stretch. think dominique wilkins

Lebron may be compared to MJ but if he keeps doing what hes doing, which means learning how to knock down his jump shots and dunk like crazy and average 30 points, he will go beyond jordan, even if he gets one or two rings, he has a horrible team yet has taken them twice to the playoffs.  Kudos to Lebron.
