Do You Think Leonard Peltier Is Innocent?

Question

If you don't know, Leonard was convicted for gunning down two FBI agents with a high-powered rifle on his Indian Reservation.

Many people, including Leonard, have been maintaining his innocence for the past 30 years. Leonard admitted that he did return fire at the agents, because he felt his brothers (Indians) were in danger. He also claimed to have seen the real murderers go up to the wounded agents and shoot them point-blank but will not give the names because of Indian code.

Do you think he should be freed?

Peltier is as guilty as sin and he should burn in h**l.  How's that for a down-and-dirty appraisal of this murderer?

If he won't give the names of the "real" killers then he is aware of a crime and refusing to help bring justice about.  Let him sit and rot.  If the dead people were related to you, what would the answer be?

He is guilty like Charles Manson, he may not have done the killing but he talked everyone into the act. By not giving out their names he is martyring himself so it's up to him.
