I doubt if they will be, but I certainly hope they are.

Yes, because both sets of candidates are rather unique in there own special way. And quite frankly both parties tell the same story and the same promises come up every year and rarely do they reach those lofty goals so it comes down to whom the independents think is lying the least.

I think that the upswing from "I don't like either" will be equal in magnitude to the downswing from "I have to stop so-and-so from winning".

I think it's a lot of things.

For McCain the independent white voter is what he is banking on.

Obama is banking on all races for change including the Independent.
