No the US team will not win the gold,we are playing olympics basketball not NBA basketball.Plus all these foreign players has caught up to us in this game.Let's see if the redeem team wins it all,I doubt it.

i dont think they have enough outside shooting to win it. the only true outside threat they have is Michael Redd and he barely plays. International basketball is a perimeter game. for some reason the US refuses to accept that and thus they get outshot by teams and get knocked out. I dont think this olympics will be any different

The way these guys have been playing of course they will. As long as they play the type of defense they did today against Greece there is no way that Spain or anyone else can stand up against them.

I think they can win it and I hope they do, they've looked pretty good so far, although I agree with Amber quite a bit, we didn't bring as many shooters as we should of, and our 3 point shots have left a lot to be desired, hopefully redd will see some more minutes and the other guards will start hitting more often
