  1. The Wings have too much experience for the young Pens...

And, Kronwall is a wall too; he will still make those open ice hits and Ozzy will be solid again.

Our D will block shots and help Ozzy too have another SO.

We only need one away win to be an inch closer to #11.

Pens fans, get over it. HockeyTown Rules, the others blow...

  2. Much can happen in a couple days.

I'm sure Pittsburgh will come out Wednesday with all guns going; with last change and a home crowd, I wouldn't at all be surprised to see them win game 3.

I'm still thinking this series goes 6 or 7 games; of course I thought Montreal would beat Philadelphia, and that San Jose would come out of the west.

  3. This series is gonna go seven.

  4. Probably.  They get last change for the next 2 games so they will actually get the match ups they want.  You wont see Lidstrom, Zetterberg, and Datsyuk playing Crosbys line very much next game.

  5. Osgood hasn't been the difference (he's been solid not great)... it's been the defense in front of him. The West is just so much better than the East...

I think the Penguins follow Ottawa's lead from last year, win one at home and then lose it in 5. Like last years Senators vs. the Ducks, the Penguins are over matched in every facet of the game agsint the Red Wings.

    No surprise here.

  6. I think next game the Pens will finally breakout of this scoring slump and get a couple here and there. But, I'm still not too sure who may win this.It may go either way.

  7. The Pens are undefeated at home for like 3 months, so I'm sure they'll find some home ice advantage, But I still expect the Wings to win at least one of the games there, not both, and come home to complete the series.  Would be nice to have a sweep, tho.

  8. All bets are off as far as I'm concerned, I thought it would be a much more even match than this, and the Penguins going back to their home arena could make a lot of difference to their mental and emotional attitude, since they can hardly remember losing there.

The fact remains that their tactical play needs the same boost, and I'd like to see a much more disciplined and resolute team effort by the Penguins for their home crowd.

Go Wings.  Keep doing what you do!

  9. They better!  Their scoreless efforts are killing my fantasy team!

  10. Only have to win by 1 goal last I knew, doesn't matter how many goals they make as long as it it one more than the other team.

I don't know if it will be a sweep, but I am going with the Wings all the way, they just look better, and Oz is GREAT!!
