Do You Think This Is A Bad Teacher?

Well, A few weeks ago in Social Studies class, we were discussing something, I forget what, and one person in my class corrected the teacher, very politely, not with an attitude, and the child was right. The teacher responded with a quite rude inconsiderate smirk, and said: "Shut up and turn around."

Is this horrible or what?

This isn't a bad teacher.  It's not the politest thing to do, but not horrible.  You may think the student didn't have an attitude, but maybe the teacher heard something different.  Maybe the teacher is having a bad day.

i wouldn't say the teacher is bad.. however a teacher should never say "shut up". Students are not allowed to say that .. therefore teahcers shouldn't be allowed either. Teachers sometimes snap.. however what the techer did was wrong.

It seems to me that you aren't really looking for an answer here, you're looking for someone on your side to go "omg rly? woah they r so awful!"  But there's two sides to everything, and we're only getting one here.  If you have a problem with your teacher, go out and talk to them about it, rather than creating questions that aren't really questions here to vent your feelings.  Sorry.

Not a bad teacher, juts having a bad day. Make sure you can proove the student's correction.
