  1. I buy from Amazon probably every couple of weeks.  I use their Amazon Prime program so that I get free 2-day shipping.  Even though they call it 2-day, I've sometimes received the products overnight.

With all the orders I've placed, I've never had a problem receiving the product.  One product I got was defective, and they paid for return shipping and gave a full refund with no hassles.

As far as sales tax goes, they'll charge if they have a physical presence in your state.  That's why they hit Washington residents.  The states they charge tax for are Kansas, Kentucky, New York, North Dakota, and Washington.

  2. yeah. they're a perfectly good online store with pretty high ratings. i think their prices are perfectly reasonable.

  3. I use Amazon quite a bit.  I would say they're fairly dependable.  They sometimes cancel sales on you and sometimes it takes forever to get your stuff, but otherwise, ok.  They will charge you sales tax, at least they do to Washington residents.
