I assume you are talking about the conventions.

They have fears about turning the events into infomercials for the parties, so they try to do interviews. Understandable.

However, if you want to see all the speeches, go to C-SPAN. It does a really nice job of showing just the stage.

lol I didn't watch the speakers but I know what you are saying. I like your question.  Yes, you are right, they need to be quiet because what they say isn't anymore important than what the speaker is saying!!!

Yes. I get annoyed to because usually they don't have anything important to say. But blame the corporate media because they have to appease their advertisers. It's all about money. That's what capitalism is about.
