No..instead, I think they should show school kids a hepatitis prevention video.

It really depends on the age of the kids. Younger kids might get traumatized. Older kids should know where their food comes from. I have been a vegetarin for 7 years now. Untill I was able to undestand that steak did not grow on a steak tree, meat was just..meat...not a dead animal.  I think everyone...especially meat eaters should know where and how their food is aquired. There are compassionate ways (if you wanna call it that ) to slaughter an animal for meat. Unfortunately KFC and many like them are only concerned with high production and dollar value. Its very unfortunate and I think people should know what exactly is in their buckets. I personally believe that when an animal is ingested...so is the karma associated with the feelings of said animal. Such as panic and fear and pain. I think 15 and 16 year olds can handle the video if they can handle killing a guy in any average video game or watch a  gory horror movie.

I pay for schools to teach my children important things.  Like how to read and write or do math without a calculator.  I do not pay for them to watch opinion videos from marginally talented actresses.

The act of killing is in itself inhumane. What difference does it make how they are killed. We are eating them, not keeping them for pets. If one is that upset about the killing of food, then stop eating meat.

I eat meat and as long as existing health codes are met I couldn't give two hoots about how the animal died.
