It actually makes more sense to me than the theory of evolution(which leaves a lot of huge questions unanswered). We are genetically modifying a variety of things today, is it too hard to beleive that aliens genetically modified us? Perhaps they mixed their own DNA with that of a chimpanzee, or something like that.

  1. I don't know about aliens, but when I read that humans were created in the image of God, I wonder if it is a misinterpretation.  I wonder if we were not created in the IMAGINATION of God.

  2. No.The DNA mixing is due to Fallen Angels per Genesis 6,not aliens.

  3. This brings into question a whole new branch of philosophy: how was the human race actually created.  Well, frankly, there is a supreme being, but not in the politically or religiously correct format that most humans are willing to accept.  The fact of the matter is that, with respect to all of the religions of today, we evolved through an evolutionary process that was created by highly sophisticated alien races.

Sounding incredible and preposterous at first, all one has to do is emotionally detach himself from the conventional presupposition that his personal god exists in the format that he expects him to.   Once this fact is accepted, it is not inconceivable that the human race was created deliberately by another race, alien, that is far, far more advanced than our own.  Based on what we know about the universe today, we can accept the fact that any and all things are possible.

If we take the myth out of the theory of what the image of a supreme being is supposed to be, then we become capable of accepting a much greater latitude of what potential answers are to the some of the mysteries of life.  Would this theory not explain why events happen in life that are not what is desired by human beings?  Would it not explain, also, why modern society is becoming more and more dehumanized as time goes on?  Would the rapid advancements in computer technology and all other technologies suggest that we are still only at the tip of a potentially much more advanced way of life?  One that will likely never stop advancing, catupuliting itself into capabilities never dreamed of just a half century ago?

Certainly, none of us need to alter our religion or way of thinking here.  Even if this theory is proven correct, we will still worship in our own personal methods, and philosophizing or re-identifying fundementals will not change anything.  But using this theory has potentially vast implications of how things have occurred in the evolution of the world.

  4. In the beginning God created male and female (humans). No aliens, big bang, chimpanzee, etc (which was created also by God), created man.

  5. It is possible but why would they bother. UNLESS they are planning to return someday to harvest all of us for use as a food source when they stop by again en route to another intergalactic conquest.  Perhaps that is what really happened to the dinosaurs: the aliens ate and ran.  Then they created a new species (humans) to consume on their next go around (maybe they prefer the taste of ape). Brilliant!  Get some government funds to do a study.  Contact Cal -UC Berkeley, they might undertake such a venture.

  6. If there is a God then He is surely alien so this would be true for creationists.

Evolution has proved fairly conclusively that we are descended from an ape like creature. Where this came from is still up in the air.

  7. I dont think aliens created the human race, God did, but aliens probably where the first to colonize earth.

  8. probably not, organisms just constantly evolved to keep surviving, its nature

i think you saw too much of Red Planet
