Do a lot of men get chemical peels?

I want my boyfriend to get one because he has a lot of discoloration and pigmentation on his face from his past acne. He doesn't wanna get one because he says men don't get chemical peels.

There are so many different things out there today.  A chemical peel is awful - hurts like h**l.  I would suggest your boyfriend get some microdermabrasion and an IPL - great stuff - trust me!

Yes, more men including myself, are getting chemical peels. I've had great results with them for correcting sun damage and uneven pigmentation. I  suggest that your boyfriend should first have a consultation with a dermatologist (as I did) to evaluate his skin and to help him plan a treatment that is best for his skin condition.

As far as the belief  "men don't get chemical peels" goes, tell your boyfriend that his health and well-being are far more important than stereotypical "rules" imposed by narrow-minded, insecure people in society.
