And if so, are they noticable?

Can dentists do anything to hide them? Like whitening?

  1. I've had one and I'm about to get another one-I was amazed at how I couldnt even tell where the filling was-I think just depends on the dentist.  I've heard that sometimes the dentist will reccommend whitening your teeth to blend in the filling.

  2. Ugh, they told me at my last appointment that I will eventually need one and they will have to drill a hole between the teeth. I don't even like to think about it!!! I have been flossing a rediculous amount now, lol!!

  3. I had fillings in my two front teeth but they have since been replaced by porcelain crowns.

  4. yes alot of people do get fillings in there front two teeth. the fillings are not noticable. the matierial they use have different shades to match the colour of your tooth.

by the time the dentist is finished you wont be able to notice the filling!

  5. Cavites are more common on the back teeth and between teeth, where food sits.

Having them on the front teeth is not as common, but happens as well.

Most dentists will opt to repair those teeth with tooth colored fillings (composite or resin.

Any whitening only effects natural teeth, but they will match the filling as best as they can.
