Do a lot of people think that teen fathers arent involved in their kids' lives?

when someone finds out that i have a kid, i start wondering if they think i'm one of those guys who dont take of their kid n is sum punk.

lots of teen dads look after there kids whilst mum finishes collage Hun you ain't   on your own .. its just silly people that think teens don't look after there kids ... shud get out more often and stop watching Jeromy kyle on TV  his one bad advertisement for young teens .. and a complete prat .... good on you Hun hope you have a great live with your child

I think that there are lots of young men who dont take care of their children but theirs lots who do!! You usually hear about the negative over the positive almost always. I was a teenage mom and had people judge me for years and like you people assume the worse. Iam very proud of who I am and my children and work hard everyday to do positve things in their lives. Thats what really matters most in the end. Happy to hear your taking care of your baby. Do the best for you and for the little one thats who you must answer to! Hope things work out for you!! Yes.  But that's because a lot of teen fathers AREN'T involved in their kids lives.  The facts speak loudly.  You are in the minority and I commend you.

Yea alot of people do. If your irrisponsinle enough to get a girl pregnant at an early age, then who's to say your going to stick around and raise the kid when your just a kid yourself.

A lot of teen fathers aren't in the kids life..yeah they probably think that but if you are taking care of your kid then there should be no problem don't listen to what others think
