  1. Acai really works, in fact you will probably feel the difference in your body within a week of taking a daily acai supplement. So, why is it so good?

Acai berries have far more antioxidants than any other fruit. Even more than blueberries! Besides that, the nutrients in acai berry supplements help many other diseases and maladies, from diabetes to arthritis to blood clotting. It really is a worthwhile supplement to add to your daily nutrition.

Acai can also be a great weight loss aid. The berry’s natural concoction of essential fatty acids, fiber, phytosterols and amino acids work together to help your body burn fat more efficiently, process food more quickly and shed the unwanted pounds that you’d like to lose.

The fatty acids and amino acids aid in both muscle development and proper digestion, both of which are essential to fat loss. The fiber helps your body to move food out of your system quicker and also to help you feel full, as do fatty acids. Phytosterols help fortify your digestive tract, moving waste materials out and absorbing nutrients more efficiently.

Acai has great anti-aging benefits, will cleanse and detoxify you, and has destroyed cancer cells in recent studies. You really can't go wrong by adding an acai supplement to your daily vitamin regimen.

Go ahead and order a free trial of Extreme Acai from the source link below. This is the product I use, and honestly I feel better every day. If you don't like it, just don't reorder it... but you'll like it. =)

I have heard that there are some side effects with some of the other acai supplements. Those that are specifically meant to 'cleanse' can sometimes make you visit the bathroom more often than usual, and some people reported some abdominal discomfort such as cramping and bloating. If you stick with Extreme Acai you will be able to avoid all this. Best of luck!

  2. Do they work?

Yes, very hard all day without breaks or complaining =). Seriously though they aren't called the worlds number 1 superfood for nothing.

You can get them in pills, or in juice form or in a fruit smoothie/cocktail. There are MLM companies out there that charge an arm and a leg for the drinks, but the best way to try them is in pill form.

If you could find them in their raw berry form at the supermarket you could try that too, more than likely they won't have any though.

They have all sorts of health benefits that a lot of people will sweep aside, like they are one of the most potent anti-aging foods/products in the world and they can help give your body a good clean out like cherries do for people with gout.

If you'd really like to know, there are a ton of places on the net who believe in their products so much that they'll give you a free trial. I did on called the extreme acai berry cleanse and while this isn't very scientific, I do feel pretty good since I started taking it.

Even isitascam.com has it on their recommended list, so I guess you can't go too wrong. They're one of the people offering the free trial, well you have to pay like three bucks something for shipping so you don't have a lot to lose.

  3. yes they do.

i started taking the pills 2 weeks ago and i've lost 13 pounds and have much more energy and feel much better about myself.

i got a free trial of it at http://www.acaiberrycentral.com and it was shipped to me within a day!

  4. They're no different from any other fruit.  They have some beneficial vitamins and minerals but they are magic, they won't cure disease any more than an apple or an orange.

  5. It's the fruit of the cabbage palm- grows in the swamps of Brazil.

It's sold as juice or frozen fruit pulp because the seed is really big compared to the edible part and it also doesn't keep long enough to ship.

It's just a fruit! It makes a delicious sherbet and smoothies, can be fermented into a fruit wine that leaves killer hangovers ... but it's just a fruit!

It'snot worth paying more for it than you would locally grown fresh fruit.

  6. The others are right that it is just a fruit. However, the main difference is that it's a fruit with a very high ORAC rating. ORAC stands for Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity, which measures how potent of an antioxidant it is. For a point of reference, it has more than 3 times the antioxidant capacity of Blueberries, and anywhere between 10 and 30 times the antioxidant capacity of red wine grapes (depending on the particular grape, of course).

And yes, you can buy it in pills (often capsules) or juice. There are a couple of Multi-Level Marketing companies that sell Acai juice and charge 2-10 times what it would sell for elsewhere, so I would avoid those, but any company that has good quality and sells it at a decent price would be fine. Good luck!

  7. Acai berries are very good for you.  I was having health problems a while back ago and have tried many things such as acai berries, mangosteen, etc.  None of the drinks helped me.  I was introduced to a drink called Univera xtra and WOW!  The stuff is great and I have been feeling 100% better.  Take a look at the website at http://www.univera.com  There you will find all about their products.  I personally like the xtra.  Take a look at it and if you want to make a little extra income also I can help you do that.  Good luck.
