Do acting agents have a cut-off day?

Like if you want to get an agent, do they ever say "I'm sorry, we're full, wait until next year" or something? Like I REALLY want an acting agent, I'm just really worried. If I call an agent what do I expect?

  1. depends on the contract you get.

but girl whatever you do look over that thing 100's times!

theres a lot of scams out there. but thats one way to be safe!

make sure they dont take alot of money.

and dont take the first agent willing to take you in the business just because youre impatient. make sure everything sounds good! good luck, or should i say 'break a leg!' <3

  2. Sort of....

Let's say you're a 16 year old, light skinned blonde girl and the agency you're looking to represent you already represents 200 other girls with your same type... they may be hesitant to take you on as a client because it would be unlikely they could find work for all of you (and therefore make money off of you.)

If/when some of the other actors who are your same "type" leave their representation, then they might be more open to take you on as a client.

Also sometimes they do have too many clients in general and won't accept new ones (kind of like a doctor who may not take on new patients if he already has too many.)
