Do adjustments need to be made to a strat if your going to use the tremolo a lot?

I have a standard mex. strat. 2008. i realize i'll have to get it set up, but does the guitar need to be set up for tremolo use specifically?

    If you use the tremolo a lot, you can adjust it yourself. If you like a soft and quick response, open the back and remove one or 2 springs and just leave 3 .

    If yu want the tremolo to be closer to the body,  just tighten the screws that are holding the springs. Now retune it, and keep adjusting the screws until you have 1/8" clearance. That should be good enough when you pull the vibrato and it will give you a nice travel if you push it.
