It seems like if you had kids with your spouse and adopted, you'd treat the adopted ones kinda different...you'd still love them I guess, but not in the same way?

I dunno...anyone who has kids and has adopted lemme know.

  1. Its difficult to do that..but if the parents are good then the child can get loved but it is not always the same like their own kid.But yes they do love them.. But if they have another kid or give birht to thier own one then discrimination will be there..

  2. I love my adopted son and twin daughters every bit as much as I love their three homemade sisters.

Also, I love the nine children we fostered as much, even those I haven't seen since they left our home.  ( four are in touch with us, the others don't remember as they were very little when the were returned to their families.  But I still love them ALL)

  3. I love my adopted kids as if they were my own flesh and blood. If someone walks up to me and says "are those all yours" I say "yes. these are all my kids." not "well these three are, but I adopted these five." because that little detail is insignificant, especially since I'd probably never see that person again.

  4. It depends on the parents and the child, but usually, YES.

    I love them the same.
