  1. No. Advertisements do not MAKE anyone do anything, unless that "advertisement" is someone pointing a gun at you and marketing the latest new "Take your wallet technique". Advertisements encourage people to spend money. If someone needs a product that is being advertised, then they are not wasting money. Rather, they are spending money on something they need. If they waste money on something that they do not need, then that is the person's own responsibility, not the advertisements.

  2. no, advertisers do their jobs - people waste their own money

  3. do guns kill people or do people kill people.

you have to choose wether or not to spend that money.

do they encourage you to sopend it obviously

or you wouldnt see ads at all.

    from the other side

yes thay have been known to use fear tactics and others

to make you feel that what id beeing advertised

    is needed and nessissary.

hope it helps and good luck

  4. Of course they do. People get advanced degrees in psychology to learn how to manipulate different age, income and income groups into wanting things they don't need, and into feeling that desire so strongly that they end up impulsively parting with their hard-earned cash (or in the case of minors, their hard-wheedled cash).
