Do african americans and caucasians dance latin genres like salsa bachata merengue etc??

I'm African-American and I dance to everything.  I've been dancing for 19 years in all forms (ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern, salsa, cha cha, Flamenco, mambo, African, rumba).  I love dancing to Latin music because the beats make me feel something inside....and me being African-American, i have more curves than your average Caucasian dancer (which can hinder you in ballet), but in Latin dance - it helps to have those curves!  Dance is just wonderful regardless of what race you are.  

And to answer your other question - My favorite Latin dance is the Salsa
