  1. I've been here since 0600 this morning (Sunday). I'll still be here at 1800 tonight. We have a **** load of work on.

  2. Depend on how much work there is to do?

    Varies company to company

  3. Depends but now their adopting Europe's 4 days on 4days off meaning 12hr/day.

  4. Depends on the company thay work for.

Some have strict rules on how many hours a person can work.

So thay don't start getting sloppy and making mistakes.

  5. yes

  6. Depends on whether you get into matience in the military or civil feild. Military do work long hours, generally arround 6am- 4pm ish, but are on call 24/7 so that might include going overtime, working different shifts and even weekends. Not so sure about the civil feild but I would think it would be high demand as well.

    Hope it helps

  7. I have worked 3-14 hr shifts, 4-10hr shift, and 5-8hr shift, its all in where you work (if its a bid position) and the shift you work.  Here in the states its mandated by the FAA mechanics must have 1 day off per month.
