  1. It is stored on the aircraft in a tank , But is emptied by the Ramp crew with a Lav (short for Lavatory Cart) Which is usually a truck or a pull along tank that you pull up next to the aircraft . Hook up the Hose , Empty the Blue Juice which is A Glycol Deodorant . And add new Blue Juice from another nozzle in the mean time you are to empty the aircraft and dispose of the mess . Usually at a preferred site by the airport .

  2. They have large holding tanks for waste and used water. It is pumped out into trucks after the flight and disposed of just like a septic tank truck does. Our nickname for the waste cart was the "t**d Hearse".

  3. Airliners store the waste in bilge tanks and are emptied once they arrive at airports by sewage trucks

  4. Regular passenger airliners-they're stored...cargo airlines such as UPS or DHL, they are dumped along the way. I have seen it myself as a UPS employee when the plane had just taken off and they dumped the water.

  5. Yup, Grunt', Brandon knows his blue juice.  His answer is right, and there have been freeze-ups in aircrafts' water / waste lines, which are a royal pain.  Imagine an ice pick....

yuck.  It's all in a days work.

Lets have the Dirty Jobs guy do that one...

  6. Well its stored on the plane and then transferred to waiting trucks which take it to KFC to cook the chickens in.  I've seen the trucks at KFC with the big hoses connected pumping all the yucky stuff in.

  7. It has a holding tank (like a Recreation Vehicle [self contained trailer]) that is emptied by a waste truck upon landing.

  8. it is stored on the plane, it is unloaded at the airport. It is like the portable toilets you see at construction sites, they use chemicals to reduce odour so you would never know its still on the plane.

  9. It is stored in the aircraft.

  10. Its stored in the airplane, in a tank, then the tank is cleaned at the airport. The truck looks like the truck that cleans out septic systems.
