  1. YES.  Many of them do and each airline charges differently so you will have to ask the airline you plan to use.  The first checked bag can be $15 to $25... the second bag can be $50 to $100 and the third checked bag can be $150 to $500

With most airlines you can take one suitcase that weighs up to 20 or 25 kg for free.  With some airlines you can take two such suitcases for free.  And your carry on is free.  It must be able to fit under the seat in front of you or in the overhead compartments. Most U.S. domestic, non commuter airlines allow a suitcase of 22"x14"x9" as carry on. Many allow a second smaller item as well such as a tote, cosmetic bag, briefcase, etc. For some international flights the size restriction may be 18"x14"x9". This is a recommended carry-on size and will vary from airline to airline so you need to check the website for the airline to be certain to get the correct information.
